House rules
Below you will find the most important house rules that apply to Hotel–Restaurant Crasborn in Thorn. We ask that you respect and accept these rules.
General rules
All instructions from hotel staff regarding house rules must be followed. Complaints can be reported to management.
At Hotel-Restaurant Crasborn, we appreciate your use of the public areas, but this is at your own risk. Hotel-Restaurant Crasborn is required to comply with the requirements of the Dutch Alcohol and Catering Act. Therefore, alcoholic beverages are not served to guests under 18 years of age. If there is any doubt about a guest's age, Hotel-Restaurant Crasborn staff will ask you to show proof of identity. To ensure a pleasant atmosphere during your stay, no alcohol will be served to guests suspected of intoxication. Any food or drink left in a checked-out room will be discarded. It is prohibited to receive paid guests in your room for sexual activities. It is not permitted to have more people in your room than the number of guests booked. This number of guests must present identification at the reception desk.
Liability: The management, the owner of this location, and any persons employed by the hotel cannot be held liable for loss, theft, or damage to your property.
Hotel room entry by staff: Hotel-Restaurant Crasborn reserves the right to enter a hotel room if staff deems it necessary. For example, in the event of (suspected) violation of the house rules.
Fire safety
Fire instructions are available for review in your room. In the event of a fire, remain calm. Report the fire to reception and/or activate the nearest fire alarm. Stay low to the ground in case of heavy smoke. Leave the building immediately if a fire alarm sounds. Hotel-Restaurant Crasborn staff will ensure your safety, and in the event of an emergency, the emergency plan will be activated. In the event of a fire, the instructions of the hotel staff and standard hotel procedures must be followed.
Limited liability
We accept no responsibility for loss, theft, accident, personal injury, medical expenses or damage to goods caused by personal carelessness or by circumstances beyond our control.
Theft
Hotel-Restaurant Crasborn is not responsible for loss or theft of your belongings.
Noise pollution
To maintain peace and quiet in the immediate vicinity of Hotel-Restaurant Crasborn, it is not permitted to cause noise pollution.
Lost and found items
You can contact the reception for lost or found items.
Hotel properties
Hotel property may not be taken outside the building. Intentional damage to Hotel-Restaurant Crasborn property may result in liability for repair and/or replacement costs. Do not leave your belongings unattended at Hotel-Restaurant Crasborn or in your car. Hotel-Restaurant Crasborn is not liable for loss, damage, or theft of your property. Parking, both in the parking lot and in the vicinity of Hotel-Restaurant Crasborn, is at your own risk. Check-in
A valid ID must be shown upon check-in.
Check-in is possible from the age of 18. Anyone aged 18 or older can reserve a room. At least one person in each travel group must be 18 or older. Anyone who (also) books for other participants is responsible for all others they register. For underage travelers, proof of parental or guardian consent is required. If a traveler is under 18, please contact us by phone.
Night's rest
We ask that you respect the privacy of your fellow guests and neighbors. Furthermore, we ask that you keep the noise levels down between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM to avoid disturbing other guests and neighbors. We have a zero-tolerance policy in this regard.
Emergency exits
All emergency exits are clearly marked in the hallways and equipped with emergency lighting. Emergency exits are only to be used in the event of a fire or as directed by staff. Therefore, using emergency exits as normal entrances and exits is not permitted. Accident
In the event of an accident, call 112 immediately and report it to reception. Hotel-Restaurant Crasborn employs emergency response personnel. They are trained to assess certain situations and quickly initiate external professional assistance.
Unwanted sexual harassment is not tolerated. At Hotel-Restaurant Crasborn, we treat each other with respect. Therefore, it is prohibited to sexually intimidate our guests and staff through words or gestures (actions). If unwanted sexual harassment occurs, we will report it to the authorities and/or clients. To maintain peace, order, and safety at Hotel-Restaurant Crasborn, the use of violence or the threat of violence is prohibited. Unforeseen circumstances: In all cases not covered by these regulations, the management of Hotel-Restaurant Crasborn will decide.
Smoking
Smoking is NOT permitted in public areas at Hotel-Restaurant Crasborn. Violating this smoking ban will result in a fine of €175.00. The use of electronic cigarettes is also prohibited throughout the building. Smoking is not permitted in hotel rooms. If we detect smoking in the room, we will be forced to charge a €150.00 cleaning fee. If the fire alarm is triggered due to smoking in the room, you will be charged the €275.00 fire department call-out fee. Smoking is permitted on the outdoor terraces. Video surveillance: Cameras are installed in various locations throughout the hotel. Everyone in our hotel consents to the recording of these recordings. In the event of emergencies and/or incidents, these recordings can be shown to the authorities as supporting material.
Narcotics
The consumption, use, trading, or possession of any narcotics is strictly prohibited. If detected, the police and the authorities will be contacted. Hotel-Restaurant Crasborn does not make its premises available for purposes other than those stipulated in our policy. Therefore, it is prohibited to trade goods, receive stolen goods, or offer services. The amount of a paid hotel room will not be refunded. The use of nitrous oxide in the hotel is prohibited without the express permission of management. Weapons: No one in our hotel is permitted to possess or carry weapons. If detected, the police and the authorities will be contacted.
Zero tolerance
We have a zero-tolerance policy. This means that if you fail to comply with these house rules, you will not receive a warning and will be immediately asked to leave the hotel. No refunds will be given, and any deposit paid will be retained.
