 Check-in: 3:00 PM Check-out: Mon-Fri 10:30 AM Sat & Sun 11:00 AM Checking in after 8:00 PM? No problem. Please call us at 31(0)475 561 281 and we will inform you by email. You can check in with us 24 hours a day using our key safe.

 Checking in before 3:00 PM? Arriving early in Thorn? No problem! You can park your car from 11:00 AM and drop off your luggage beforehand, then enjoy "the white town" and its surroundings! Your room will be ready from 3:00 PM or even earlier. Just ask our staff.

 Cancellation options: If you'd like to book a wonderful stay in a family-run hotel in the heart of Thorn's historic center without any worries, you've come to the right place. We offer special cancellation options. Guests who book directly on our website can cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before their arrival date. After this time, or if you don't show up (no-show), you will be charged 100% of the first night or the total package price. Cancellations must always be confirmed in writing (by email or mail) or via the login details of our online booking system. Unfortunately, non-refundable rates cannot be canceled.

 Children and extra beds: One child up to 3 years old can stay in their parents' room free of charge. An extra bed for a child aged 4 to 7 costs €14.50 per night, including breakfast. For a child aged 8 to 11, it costs €22.50 per night, including breakfast. For older guests, an extra bed can be added to some rooms upon request for €29.50 per night, excluding breakfast.

 Bicycle parking: in our bike shed or in the enclosed courtyard. You can charge your bike battery in the shed or in your room. Don't forget your charging cable! Extra bike locks are also available.

 Tourist tax: Tourist tax/occupancy tax, including a handling fee, is €3.50 per person per night in 2025 and €4.00 per night in 2026. Breakfast: We serve breakfast daily in our covered courtyard, "De Wintertuin." This is served buffet-style, using local ingredients as much as possible. This includes a variety of bread, rolls, croissants, fruit juices, milk, yogurt and cereals to go with yogurt, a wide selection of sandwich spreads, a boiled egg, a fried egg with bacon, or scrambled eggs upon request, and of course, unlimited coffee, tea, and cappuccino. If you would like a gluten-free breakfast, please let us know in advance.

The breakfast buffet is served Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM as standard, and from 7:30 AM upon request. Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, it's served from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM.

 Payment: The hotel accepts cash, PIN, Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, JB-card, Diners Club, personal gift vouchers.

 Charging your electric car: A public electric car charging station is located 450 meters away (300 meters walk - 3 minutes) on Wal in Thorn. Parking is free. Public electric car charging stations are also located the same distance from the hotel, on Waterstraat and at Meers 13 in Thorn. Paid parking is required at €3.00 per day (2025).

 Meetings: In collaboration with fellow entrepreneurs, we can create a meeting package upon request. Please contact us for more information.

 Very late check-in: No problem. Provide us with your email address via the contact form, and we'll send you all the necessary information about the key safe and our night entrance.

 Elevator: Due to the building's listed status (1729), we have certain restrictions. Therefore, we haven't yet been able to install an elevator. Most rooms require you to climb a relatively steep staircase of 17 steps. If you have difficulty walking, please consider our Junior Suite and Ground Floor Suite. Wheelchair accessible! We'd be happy to reserve them for you!

Why does the room I want to book have different prices per night?

Hotel Crasborn uses a daily best available price, so the same room may have a different price per day or night.

Can an extra bed be added to the room?

Yes, that's possible. For a small additional charge, a third bed can be added to one of our Junior Suites or Deluxe rooms. This is not possible in other room types.

When is a reservation considered a group reservation?

A reservation is a group reservation for 5 rooms or more. Want to make a reservation, have a question, or cancel a reservation? Send us an email or call us at  31 475 561 281.

Does Hotel Crasborn have accessible rooms?

Yes, we have two accessible suites on the ground floor. These rooms can only be booked directly through our reception.

What time can I check in?

Check-in is from 3:00 PM. Earlier arrivals are welcome. If your room isn't ready, we can store your luggage for you. If you plan to arrive later than 8:00 PM, please let us know so we can guarantee a room until 8:00 PM.

What's the latest check-out time?

You can use your room until 11:00 AM. Would you like to check out later? This is possible based on availability and at an additional cost. Please contact the hotel reception for more information.

Is smoking allowed in hotel rooms?

Since 2008, smoking has been prohibited in hotel rooms in the Netherlands. This also applies here. If you ignore this rule, you'll be fined €150.00.

Where is the best place to park?

Our hotel guests can park for free in our private parking lot located in De Steeg. Our restaurant guests can park in a public parking lot for €3 per day or in free parking spaces a short walk away (250 meters - 4 minutes). Ask our reception for more information. We also offer drop-off and pick-up for older guests at the back of our hotel and restaurant.
