Check-in: 15:00 Check-out: Mon-Fri 10:30 Sat & Sun 11:00 Checking in after 20:00? No problem. Please contact us on 31(0)475 561 281 and we will inform you by email. You can check in with us 24 hours a day using our key safe.

Check-in before 15:00? Arriving in Thorn early? No problem! You can park your car from 11:00 and drop off your luggage in advance, so you can enjoy "the white town" and the surrounding area! Your room will be ready from 15:00 or perhaps even earlier. Just ask our staff.

Cancellation Options: If you wish to book a wonderful stay at a family hotel in the heart of the historic center of Thorn without any worries, you have come to the right place. Special cancellation options: We offer guests who book directly on our site the option to cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before the day of arrival. After this time, or in the event of a no-show, 100% of the first night's stay or the package will be charged. Cancellations must always be confirmed to us in writing (by email or post) or via the login account of our online booking system. Unfortunately, non-refundable rates cannot be cancelled.

Children and extra beds: It is possible for one child aged 3 to 3 to stay in the room with their parents free of charge. An extra bed for a child aged 4 to 7 costs €14.50 per night including breakfast. For a child aged 8 to 11, this costs €22.50 per night including breakfast. For older persons, an extra bed can be placed in some rooms upon request for €29.50 per night excluding breakfast.

Bicycle storage: in our bicycle storage room or in the enclosed courtyard. You can charge your bicycle battery in the storage room or in your room. Don't forget your charging cable! Extra bicycle locks are also available.

Tourist tax: Tourist tax / accommodation tax including handling fee amounts to €3.50 per person per night in 2025 and €4.00 per night for 2026. Breakfast: We serve breakfast every day in our covered courtyard “De Wintertuin”. We present this in buffet style, making as much use as possible of regional products. This includes, among other things, various types of bread, rolls, croissants, fruit juices, milk, yogurt and cereals to accompany the yogurt, an extensive selection of spreads, a boiled egg or, if desired, a fried egg with bacon or scrambled eggs, and of course unlimited coffee/tea/cappuccino. If you require a gluten-free breakfast, please let us know in advance.

The breakfast buffet is served as standard from Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 10:00, and upon request from 07:30. On Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from 08:30 to 10:30.

Payment: The hotel accepts cash, debit card, Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, JB-card, Diners Club, and personal gift cards.

Electric car charging: A public electric charging point is located on De Wal in Thorn, a 450-meter drive (300-meter walk - 3 min.). This includes free parking. At the same distance from the hotel, located on Waterstraat and at Meers 13 in Thorn, there are public electric charging points where paid parking applies for €3.00 per day (2025).

Meetings: In collaboration with fellow entrepreneurs, it is possible to put together a meeting package upon request. Please contact us for more information.

Very late check-in: No problem. Provide us with your email address via the contact form and we will send you all the necessary information regarding the key safe and our night entrance.

Elevator: Due to the monumental status of the building (1729), we are subject to certain restrictions. As a result, we have not yet been able to install an elevator. To reach most rooms, you will need to climb a relatively steep staircase with 17 steps. If you have difficulty walking, please take a look at our Junior Suite and Suite on the ground floor. These are also wheelchair accessible! We would be happy to reserve these for you!

Why does the room I want to book have different prices per night? Hotel Crasborn works with a daily best available price; therefore, the same room may have a different price per day or night.

Can an extra bed be placed in the room? Yes, that is possible. For a small surcharge, a third bed can be placed in one of our Junior Suites or Deluxe rooms. This is not possible in the other room types.

When is a reservation considered a group reservation? A reservation is considered a group reservation starting from 5 rooms. Would you like to make a reservation, do you have a question, or would you like to cancel a reservation? Send us an email or call us at 31 475 561 281.

Does Hotel Crasborn have rooms for guests with disabilities? Yes, we have two suites on the ground floor that are suitable for guests with disabilities. These rooms can only be booked directly through our reception.

From what time can I check in? You can check in from 15:00. Arriving earlier is possible. If your room is not yet ready, we can store your luggage for you. If you expect to arrive later than 20:00, please let us know regarding the room guarantee until 20:00.

Until what time can I check out? You can use your room until 11:00 AM. Would you like to check out later? This is possible subject to availability and at an additional cost. Please contact the hotel reception for this.

Is smoking allowed in the hotel room? Since 2008, smoking has no longer been permitted in hotel rooms in the Netherlands. This applies to us as well. If you disregard this rule, you will pay a fine of €150.00.

Where is the best place to park? Our hotel guests can park for free in our private parking lot located in De Steeg. Our restaurant guests can park in a general parking lot for €3 per day or in free parking spaces within a short walking distance (250 meters - 4 min walk). Please ask our reception for more information. Additionally, elderly guests can always be dropped off and picked up at the rear of our hotel-restaurant.
